It is such a lovely thing to do if you have children/nieces & nephews etc as they just love it! You can walk, drive, ride the tram or even go by horse and carriage through the magical lights!
For 2 adults and 2 young kids you could have a cheap little trip out, infact for less than £10 - here's how:
- £4 car park for 8 hours (Google Blackpool Car Parks before you go to find the closest one at the best price for where you plan to visit)
- £3 bag of chips, you can't visit the seaside without eating at the chippy!
- £2 for 5 hot donuts...or fruit, depending on what mood you're in! (And fruit
might beote difficult to find there!)
- Take drinks and extra snacks from home!
There is lots more to do if you want to spend more money, but it doesn't have to cost a lot at all! If you do want to spend more money, I would definitely recommend the circus - I LOVE the circus at Blackpool tower!
The illuminations finish this weekend, so if you haven't been yet it might have to wait until next year. For us next time, I will definitely take my family earlier in the season to enjoy the pretty lights in nicer weather.
